The primary goal of the Dixie School District Transportation Department is provide safe and dependable transportation to every child in our district.
We were blessed in 2010-11 with a good year overall. We appreciate our drivers and staff for their dedication to our district and our students. As we look forward to a new year, we realize that some changes are necessary. We have already experienced some adjustments and we hope that through our planning and preparation, we can maintain and “fine-tune” our department for constant improvement. We expect to continue to implement positive measures that will ensure safety, efficiency, and professionalism for our students, parents, school district, and community.
Please be reminded that our school district is experiencing drastic budget reductions. Additionally, transportation laws continue to be implemented, changed, and/or revised for safety purposes. With this in mind, we may have to modify various bus routes in order to conserve fuel and maintain safety compliance. Every effort will be made to notify families who will be affected. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience these changes may cause.
